Sarah joins Marchment Hill Consulting with over 11 years’ experience across regulated and competitive markets in Australia, Europe, and Latin America. She specialises in market governance structures and regulatory framework for rapidly changing utilities sectors.
Sarah joins MHC from Low Carbon Contracts Company, one of the UK government’s central implementation agencies for energy market reform and emerging technology development. Before moving to the UK, Sarah was a commercial lawyer at Freehills. She later moved to Origin Energy where she worked across the integrated business in commercial valuation and public policy roles. Her career has been punctuated with economic empowerment projects including micro-business financing in the Philippines and solar PV panel manufacturing in Nicaragua.
Sarah holds a Masters degree in competition and market regulation from the University of Western Australia, an LLB(Hons) from the University of Technology Sydney, and a BSc in mathematics from the University of Sydney. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys running along Melbourne’s excellent park tracks.
