Recent Engagement: Our client is a regional water authority operating in an environment where continuous performance improvement is considered a mandatory requirement of their day-to-day activities. Whilst their Field Services group was meeting performance targets in several critical areas, an employee satisfaction survey revealed a range of current challenges could be limiting this group’s ability to reach optimal performance levels.

Neil Gibbs chairs Energy Storage Working Group
MHC News: The Clean Energy Council (CEC) formed the Energy Storage Working Group in late-2011, and invited Neil Gibbs, Founder and Managing Principal of Marchment Hill Consulting, to be its chair. The group has over 40 active members and is one of the CEC’s largest working groups. Its initial priorities are to size the market for energy storage in Australia across all potential applications, and to investigate potential policy options to overcome current barriers and encourage the uptake of energy storage solutions.

Alex Coe convenes the AWA water retail specialist network
MHC News: In late-2011, following a proposal by Marchment Hill Consulting, the Australian Water Association (AWA) agreed to form a new specialist network focusing on the retail function of the water industry. The group will focus on identifying and addressing issues in billing, customer service and engagement, metering, pricing and tariffs, and will be delivering a program of activities over the next year.
